Definitions

Rules - these rules;

Law - Gambling law Government Ordinance 77/2009 and Government Decision 111/2016;

Bet - a contract entered into by and between an individual and Balkanix, whereby the individual undertakes to provide a certain amount of money for an event with an undefined outcome, in accordance with the principles specified by Balkanix;

Player - a participant in remote gambling organised by Balkanix, who has registered an account on the site;

Player's Account - The Player's individual account registered on the Website through which the Player can place bets;

Activity control mechanisms, self-exclusion

The Player may, at any time, close or suspend the operation of his Player Account without giving any reason. If the Player wants to have his account closed, the Player has to withdraw the accumulated funds. Closure of the Player Account is possible only after withdrawal of funds.

Balkanix provides self-control mechanisms for gambling on the Site, such as:

• limiting the funds allocated to a bet (e.g. suspected gambling addiction, at the request of the client, etc.);
• limiting the amount of time a Player can spend gambling (e.g. suspected gambling addiction, at the client's request, etc.);
• the possibility of self-exclusion by the Player;
• the possibility of closing the Account;
• impossibility to continue playing after the funds in the Player Account have been exhausted.

The limits mentioned in section 2 above are set on a daily and monthly basis.

The gambling time limit means the time between the moment the player logs in into his account and the moment the player log out, irrespective of the time allocated to betting operations.

The initial value of the above limits is set by the Player in the registration process (at the time he/she fills in the form or in the account settings at first login).

After reaching any player-defined limit, the game cannot be continued.

The above limits may be increased according to the Player's wishes, but no earlier than:

• 48 hours from the time of submission of such request by the Player - in the case of the first increase of the limit set by the Player;

Any limit will be reduced immediately after the Player makes such a request.

Balkanix makes available to players a facility that allows them to request a temporary (from 1 month up to 1 year) or permanent exclusion from the game or the interruption of access to the game for a predetermined period of up to 7 days.

Break in Play can be done from the player's personal account, in the "Responsible Game" section. Self-exclusion can be requested via Live chat or support@don.ro.

During the self-exclusion period, the player is not allowed to participate in the betting and/or casino games organized by Balkanix.

The request for self-exclusion from gambling is irrevocable within the period indicated by the Player. The possibility to gamble will resume after the expiry of the self-exclusion period.

The clock indicating the time spent online on the Site is a mechanism that allows Players to control their activity on the Site from the time they log on to the Site until they log off from the Site.

Protection of minors

The display of commercial information on the Site ensures the protection of minors by:

• compliance with the prohibition of directing betting advertisements to minors, of featuring minors in such advertisements and of having minors participating in such advertisements, and of complying with all legal prohibitions relating to the content of possible gambling advertisements, the violation of which could result in minors being lured;
• ensuring that commercial information is not, by its content or form, directed to minors and by prohibiting or not encouraging minors to register an Account;

Balkanix ensures that all commercial information published on the Site is presented in such a way as to ensure the protection of minors.

The Website is not intended for persons under the age of 18.

Final provisions

Amendments to the Rules may be introduced in a manner and in accordance with the principles established by applicable law, with the prior approval of the Romanian National Gambling Office.

It is the player's responsibility to notify via support@don.ro any other accounts the player may have and to promise not to open any other accounts. Balkanix Limited will make considerable efforts to try to prevent new accounts being opened, but it is the sole responsibility of the player to ensure that no new accounts are created. Balkanix Limited cannot be held liable for any losses on other accounts.
